Rosie Jane was founded by international makeup artist Rosie Johnston, who started her career in the makeup industry at the tender age of 19.
Rosie took her skills to London in search of work, inspiration and adventure. She quickly found her talents sought after by the freelance world which took her all the way to Los Angeles .
Throughout her career, Rosie had always found it hard to find a product that actually did what it said it would, and so began developing Rosie Jane Cosmetics. The concept behind creating Rosie Jane was and is, to develop a makeup line that even people who are scared to wear makeup will be scared no more.
Rosie Jane is all about being natural, not covering up what you have but enhancing it. Becoming increasingly frustrated with putting sticky lip gloss on the cheeks of herself and famous faces such as Sophia Coppola, Poppy Montgomery, Courtney Cox, Calista Flockhart and Sophie Marceau to create a dewy, natural radiance, Rosie created her first product, Rosie Jane Cheek Gloss.
