Vanity Mark founder and LA makeup artist Brett Freedman designed this version of a brow powder to go on smoothly and have long wear. Vanitymark powders are finely milled for ease in blending but tightly packed for less flyaway.
Talc, Boron Nitride, Nylon 12, Methicone, Ethylhexyl Palmitate, Magnesium Myristate, Zinc Stearate, Silica, Methylparaben, Sodium Dehudroacetate, Propylparaben, Butylparaben, Tocopherol, Ascorbyl Palmitate, and MAY CONTAIN (+/-) Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891) and/or Iron Oxides (CIs 77491/77492/77499)
BLONDEST - The lightest of the bunch, Blondest is perfect for those fair-haired platinum blondes. Gives brows a bit of definition without over emphasizing them. White or silver-haired women do great with this shade. The soft golden hue gives Blondest a low key natural finish... so important on paler skin tones. Think Christina Aguillera.
BLONDIE - Think of this as a version of a taupe. This is the most ‘universal’ brow shade in the line. Great for summer or highlighted blondes. Also great to define a brunette brow. You want your brow “fill in” to be lighter than the hairs. This softens the brow shape. By using a slightly lighter shade a brow never looks too “drawn in” or flat. You want your brows to have subtle depth for the most natural look. Think Jennifer Aniston or Olivia Newton John.
GINGERELLA- Ahhh the plight of strawberry blondes. You want to enhance your ginger arches but what are your options? That too-dark auburn shade that most lines feature (which, some may say is just a reddish dark brown) or a taupe-ish color that just doesn’t match and can give your overall look a disjointed, washed out vibe. Will this tone work for you? Think Marg Helgenberger, Reba McIntire (circa now) or Mad Men's Joan Holloway.
AUBURNISTA- Deeper redheads need the vibrancy and synchronicity of a true auburn color. Tired of using a coppery lip pencil mixed with a henna-hued shadow to create the perfect brow fill in? Finally... a true to color brow shade that will “wake up” that yawning brow! Think Debra Messing or Kate Walsh.
MILK CHOCO - The perfect chocolate brown carefully formulated. Brunettes who like a crisp, refined brow shape will love the softness of this shade. A favorite with medium-skinned Hispanics and light-skinned African American women. Think Angeline Jolie, Leighton Meester.
DARK CHOCO – A deeper version of Milk Choco. A dark brown that isn’t too red is tough to find. This has a nice balance... warm without being too red... and it doesn’t read as too ash (which can make some browns look greenish... ick!). Great for striking old Hollywood brows (Gwen Stefani) or tailored exotic brows (Megan Fox).
CHOCO NOIR – The deepest brown around, “black with a touch of warmth.” Choco Noir is great for gals with deeper skin tones that sometimes gravitate to a black pencil, a huge glamour no-no (too flat/harsh). The whisper of brown added will anchor your brows in reality. Perfect for pale gals like Kat Von D. that favor a bit of theatrical 'pop' to their arches. On the exotic side, Naomi Campbell looks beautiful when she pairs her onyx hair with a near black brow.
