A look isn't complete without one essential product-the highlighter. It's my everyday beauty must-have. A highlighter can be used day or night to illuminate your skin. The Flashlite Highlight Powder in “Double Exposure” is a sheer, pearled champagne color. It goes on smoothly , its lightweight and contains delicate Australian micropearls-simply lovely! “Double Exposure” is natural looking and the powder is very fine so it doesn't feel heavy on skin, as some liquid highlighters do. This shade has a warm bronze finish to it that's subtle, and very neutral, making it great for all skin tones.

With any loose powder, care must be taken when opening the lid otherwise you run the risk of spilling the powder. Luckily, facefront has packaged their product well. The lid stays on tight and is easy to open and close. Here's the tip: Hold the lid slightly perpendicular to the container, then gently use your index finger to tap the powder onto the lid. After applying blush and bronzer, I used a fan brush to contour my cheeks with the highlighter. Using a “C” shape, I swiped the highlighter along the upper cheekbones. This product can also be worn by itself without the need for blush or bronzer. You can even add a small amount to the inner corner of the eye. When I'm feeling tired and want to look refreshed, I'll add a dab of this and I instantly look bright-eyed.

For those of you who are hesitant about products with shimmer like I am, there is no need to fear with this product. It's a subtle, lightweight formula with just the right amount of shimmer. When the light hits your face, you see the perfect amount of sheen that makes your skin glow. The Flashlite Highlite Powder comes in two additional shades, one with a pinky-lavender tint and the other a pearly-white shade. All three accomplish the same goal, illuminating your skin.
