Amuse Pearl Eyeshadow Palette

If you have read my reviews from the past, you'll know that I just love makeup palettes, both eyeshadow and lip palettes I go crazy for! Why? Because they are so convenient and easy to travel with; to have a wide array of colors in one place. I currently have the Amuse Makeup Palette (which I love!) that has a bunch of eyeshadows and a couple blushes so I had a lot of high hopes and expectations for the Amuse Pearl Eyeshadow Palette and I was truly excited to try it!

The Amuse Pearl Eyeshadow Palette contains 12 tantalizing colors ranging from bold and daring bright colors, to gorgeous naturals like gold and brown. The colors are so pigmented (no surprise there!) as Amuse eyeshadows I noticed are well pigmented, and they have a nice shimmer to them. They come in a plastic casing with two double-ended eyeshadow applicators making it easy to apply these smooth, powdered eyeshadows on your lids.

I really liked the color payoff of these eyeshadows- it's incredible, however I didn't really like how shimmery these were, I guess it's the “pearl” in the name. Nonetheless it's a bit too shiny and shimmery for me to wear during the daytime, I personally love and prefer eyeshadows with a little shimmer to make the eyes pop rather than the dull matte colored eyeshadows; but these eyeshadows I found were just a bit TOO shimmery and shiny to truly wear out to work or in the daytime, although they are perfect for a night out on the town as they almost give the appearance that they have ultra fine particles of glitter. They actually remind me of those metallic eyeshadows, giving that metal-shimmer look.
